On the weekend I looked for a new book. I always read the description first because, you know, I won’t read just any old thing. So I read the description for this book and thought it looked okay, so then I read the online sample and laughed so hard that a little bit of pee came out. Okay, a lot of pee came out. ALRIGHT! I PEED SO MUCH I HAD TO CHANGE MY PANTS! There, are you happy now? It’s funny, okay? And it isn’t all about vomit and farts either (okay, a lot of it is about vomit and farts, but what’s wrong with that?)

Reggie is quite the 'adventurous' little boy! As most young children, he manages to get into an assortment of trouble on the weekends. When he returns to school on Monday morning, he has to write an essay about what he did the previous weekend. The author has written this book for ages 7 -12 and is certainly entertaining for that age. And beyond, I might add as I got a few chuckles out of this one, too.Most of the stories center around farts and vomit and other yucky things the little ones laugh hysterically about most days. The one I laughed the most at was the one about the fart collection. The author has managed to sneak a portion of this one into Reggie's plan to take over the world. One must remember when making plans to make sure you are clear about things you need to do in order to complete your task.
There are some black and white drawings which accompany the text. All in all, highly recommended and your kids will certainly get some laughs out of this one. The story 'His fries are bigger than mine' made me laugh, also.

My boys are 10 and 8...they loved it. They laughed a lot and when I asked them how many stars to give...they said 5.
I liked it. It was pretty funny. a a a a a a a a a a a a a
What an adorable comical relief! I laughed at every story Reggie told us! and, amazing all the stuff he got caught in and yet seemed so very logical for a little kid!
I got this book for my younger cousin who is six years old. He likes to play on smartphones as most children do. So I introduced him to the app via this book. He enjoyed reading it so much that he literally could be heard laughing throughout the house. Thank you, because of this book he looks forward to reading on an electronic device more than he does playing a game.
I chose this rating because it's funny, to a point. I mean, fart jokes and things like that can be taken too far.
I liked how the book was funny, but then it began being a repetitive joke.
This book could have been so much funnier if it had been written with a more sophisticated vocabulary. I get that it's intended to amuse and entertain middle school boys, but they deserve a bit more of a challenge than this. Even the "Captain Underpants" series is better written and has a more interesting story line-with graphics! I wanted to like this book, but did not think it worthy. Middle schooler deserve better.
A good, fun read about young Reggie's weekend adventures. I think kids, especially boys, aged between 7-9, will enjoy Reggie's bizarre tales. It had me laughing out loud in places. Good and simple illustrations, but this really wasn't the appeal of the book. It was the main character and how likeable he was. Some of the stories were a bit out there, but they were fun all the same.
